Good Morning 2012!

Neal & Cruce celebrating the New Year.

I'm sitting here watching the golf carts zip by the window.

Cruce is sprawled out in front of the patio, recuperating from our 33 hour drive to Florida. Sound asleep, paws twitching. There's no doubt that he's dreaming of the squirrel that taunted him on his morning walk and all of the new smells that he's encountered. Every once and awhile, he lets out a sigh of contentment.

Yes, life is good.

In Palm Beach, its 80 degrees. Not much like the Eastern Canadian weather that we left behind on Monday.

Here's to 2012! A new year filled with opportunities.

Where will the next 12 months take us? I'm not sure. But, I bet it will be an adventure.

Merry "3 Months Until" Christmas

It's hard to believe that the summer is gone. Fall is zipping by. The leaves are changing, we have less daylight, and the temperatures are dipping. The stores are getting their Christmas decorations in & my countdown has officially begun. There are only 6 paychecks left before Christmas. I've started a list of people to buy for & jotted down some ideas of what to get each.

If you think that I'm insane...get this. My sister is almost done her shopping. In fact, the only things that I've found more anxious for Christmas than Jaime, are our holly & yew shrubs. They are already decorated.
